• Tierlist content you create

• Process contest entries and display leaderboards
• Communicate with you about your account or our services

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except:

• When you make tierlists or contest entries public
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect our rights and safety

Public Information

Live Chat Voting (Live Sessions)

During a creator's live session, viewers vote by typing a tier (like "S" or "A") in the creator's own public chat on Twitch or Kick. To run the game, we read those public chat messages and process:

• the platform (Twitch or Kick), and the viewer's public chat username and platform user id;
• the tier the viewer voted, and the points they earn for matching the creator's placement.

Viewers do not need a TierContest account — their identity is the public chat handle they already use on the streamer's channel. We use this data only to score predictions and to show the live and final leaderboards on the creator's stream (via OBS overlays) and on the public session page.

Retention: individual vote records are short-lived and are automatically deleted about 48 hours after the round. A session's final leaderboard (usernames and points) is kept on the session record and expires roughly 30 days after the session ends.

Legal basis (EEA/UK): we rely on legitimate interests in operating the interactive feature the creator chose to host. The data is limited to a public chat handle and a tier vote and is short-lived. To request removal of your chat-vote data, contact us at the address below.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information

Cookies and Tracking

Processors and International Transfers

We rely on the following processors to operate the service:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, database, email delivery (eu/us regions).
• Google LLC — sign-in (OAuth), Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion measurement. Activated only with your analytics/marketing consent.
• TikTok Technology Limited — TikTok Pixel and Events API for ad attribution. Activated only with your marketing consent.
• Discord, Twitch — sign-in (OAuth) when you choose those providers.
• Kick / Pusher Ltd — real-time delivery of your channel's public chat during live sessions. (Twitch live-session chat is read anonymously over Twitch's public IRC.)
• Stripe Payments Europe — payment processing for creator subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional email (winner notifications, password reset).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on guest submission.

Some of these processors are located outside the European Economic Area (notably the United States). Where applicable, transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
